Skye Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Skye mobile application and related services (the "App") provided by Signull Labs Inc. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in our Terms of Service.

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the App after notice constitutes acceptance.

1. General Principles

You must use the App lawfully, respectfully, and in accordance with these guidelines. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including actions taken by AI agents operating on your behalf pursuant to your configured preferences.

2. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the App to:

2.1 Illegal and Harmful Activity

  • Engage in, facilitate, or promote any illegal activity
  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or legal obligation
  • Engage in fraud, impersonation, or misrepresentation
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or abuse any person
  • Distribute content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
  • Exploit, abuse, or endanger minors in any way
  • Violate the privacy or data protection rights of others

2.2 AI Misrepresentation and Misuse

  • Represent AI-generated content (briefings, cards, summaries, messages, or other Output) as human-created
  • Use AI-generated content to deceive, mislead, or manipulate others
  • Use the App to generate or distribute misinformation or disinformation
  • Use AI-generated content in connection with political campaigns, lobbying, or voter targeting without clear disclosure of AI origin
  • Rely on AI-generated content as a substitute for professional financial, medical, legal, or other licensed advice without appropriate professional oversight
  • Use AI-generated Memories or inferred data to make consequential decisions about other people (e.g., employment, credit, housing) without independent verification

2.3 Automated Actions

  • Configure automated actions to send unsolicited communications, spam, or bulk messages
  • Use automated actions to interfere with third-party services or accounts
  • Configure the App to take actions that would violate the terms of connected Third Party Services
  • Use automated actions to execute financial transactions, contractual commitments, or legally binding actions without understanding the consequences

2.4 Data and Security

  • Input data you do not have the right to use or that infringes third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
  • Attempt to access, extract, or reverse-engineer other users' data or AI models
  • Probe, scan, or test the security of our systems without authorization
  • Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage restrictions, safety features, or content filters
  • Use the App to collect, aggregate, or compile personal data about other people without their consent
  • Share your account credentials or allow multiple people to use a single account

2.5 Competitive and Commercial Misuse

  • Use the App to develop, train, or improve competing AI products or services
  • Use the App to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or benchmark AI models or machine learning systems without our prior written consent
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the App
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute access to the App or its features
  • Use the App in any manner that competes with or substitutes for the App or our business

2.6 System Integrity

  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, networks, or infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or attempt to access source code or underlying models (except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law)
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks from the App
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App

3. Connected Service Data

When you connect Third Party Services to the App:

  • You must comply with those services' own terms of service and acceptable use policies
  • You must have proper authorization to access and share data from those services
  • You may not connect services using credentials obtained through unauthorized means
  • You are responsible for any data you make available to the App through connected services

4. Content Standards

While the App primarily processes your existing data rather than user-created content, any information you input, share, or make available through the App must not:

  • Contain illegal, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party
  • Contain sensitive personal data of other individuals without their explicit consent
  • Include material that promotes illegal activity or harmful behavior

5. High-Risk Use Restrictions

The App is designed for personal informational use. You acknowledge that the App is not designed, intended, or suitable for:

  • Medical diagnosis, treatment decisions, or substitution for professional medical advice
  • Financial trading, investment decisions, or substitution for professional financial advice
  • Legal advice or determination of legal rights or obligations
  • Critical infrastructure management or safety-critical systems
  • Automated decision-making that produces legal effects or similarly significant effects on individuals
  • Emergency services or time-critical safety situations
  • Any use where AI errors or inaccuracies could result in physical harm, significant financial loss, or deprivation of rights

6. Enforcement

6.1 Investigation. We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP. You agree to cooperate with reasonable investigation requests.

6.2 Consequences. Violation of this AUP may result in:

  • Warning and request to cease the prohibited activity
  • Temporary suspension of your account or specific features
  • Permanent termination of your account
  • Removal or disabling of content or connections
  • Reporting to law enforcement where we believe illegal activity has occurred

6.3 No Prior Notice Required. While we will generally attempt to notify you before taking enforcement action, we reserve the right to act immediately without notice where we believe there is a risk of harm to us, our users, or any third party, or where required by law.

6.4 Appeals. If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, you may contact us at legal@signulllabs.com to request a review.

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to legal@signulllabs.com. We will review all reports and take appropriate action.
